Mix water and sugar and bring to boil.
Melt butter in a pan.
Toss in grain and raisins, stirring constantly at low heat for 20-25 minutes until golden in color.
Add grain by single spoonfuls to water and sugar, which should be simmering.
When all grain is added, keep on fire for 2 or 3 minutes, stirring continuously.
Remove and serve hot.
